This bill prohibits court from asking defendant’s immigration status or requiring defendant to disclose defendant’s immigration status at time of plea or at any other time during criminal proceeding, but allows additional time for plea after informed of adverse immigration consequences.

Limited Government
Gagging judges endangers Oregonians’ lives and puts criminal aliens above the rule of law. It threatens all Oregonians including the immigrant community.

  1. This is a load of crap. Follow the laws in place already. We would be required to state our country of origin in other countries. Waste of time and money to even promote this idea.
