Reps. Bowman (D, HD25), Neron (D, HD26) and Sen. Woods (D, SD13) will be holding a joint town hall on April 22 at the Oregon Institute of Technology Wilsonville Campus from 11am-12pm.
Rep. Boman is working on many bills. One of them is HB 2753 which would allow school boards to provide board members with a monthly stipend of up to $500. Requires board to provide reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses if board does not provide stipend, and is declared an emergency which means it becomes law as soon as it passes. This bill has already been passed in the House and will go to the Senate next. Do we really need to add more expenses to school budgets when all they seem to be worrying about is what gender your child thinks they are???
