SUMMARY:Legislative Committee Days
DESCRIPTION:During Committee Days\, legislators from across Oregon return t
 o Salem for the quarterly "Legislative Days."  Committees hold informatio
 nal hearings on a variety of topics\, but do not vote on policy or pass le
 gislation.  Topics can often be ones that may lead to legislation in upco
 ming sessions or committees may hear updates on previous bill implementati
 ons.  Many committees will hear reports from state agencies and Task Forc
 es or consider testimony regarding current subject areas affecting Oregoni
 ans. This particular Legislative Days will provide an opportunity for Comm
 ittees to plan for the upcoming 2025 Session and consider the Committee bi
 lls that each Committee will introduce.  It's also one final opportunity 
 to hear about Session priorities from stakeholders before bills are offici
 ally introduced in 2025.
