Rep. Mike Nearman Constitution Series (Part 3) – Salem, 1/30/20

Rep. Mike Nearman (Republican) HD-23

“Many may be familiar with the US Constitution, but how well do we know the Oregon Constitution? Join State Representative Mike Nearman for a deep dive into the Oregon Constitution, a document that has its origins in pre-Civil War times. We will walk through the Oregon Constitution article by article and discuss how this impacts our lives and what tools it offers us as we interface with our government.

The Oregon Constitution Class Dates:
Part 1: Thursday, January 9th, 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Part 2: Thursday, January 23rd, 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Part 3: Thursday, January 30th, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

The event is free and open to all. Tell a friend! Light refreshments will be served. Attendees may also feel free to bring your own snacks into the venue. Register online today to reserve a spot. You’ll need to register for each session individually. Please also let us know if you need childcare for any of the three sessions so we can plan for adequate staffing to be ready to go (suggested donation $5-$10 to help cover childcare costs if able, however, no families turned away). For your convenience, childcare donations accepted online at time of registration, or onsite at time of drop-off or pick-up.” (Rep. Mike Nearman)
