Rep. Pham (D, HD36) will be hosting a Constituent Coffee on Sat, Feb 10th from 11-12pm at the Ackerly’s at Reed Crossing. He’s excited to be kicking off the coming legislative session and share his priority bills and have a conversation with the community.
His newsletter says HB 4154 will establish a statewide semiconductor consortium (through more fees) that will create sustained partnership and collaboration with industry to create employment opportunities, advance a more diverse workforce (isn’t that code for discrimination?), and improve the productivity of the industry. How will this improve the productivity of the industry, if industry is prevented from hiring qualified applicants?
