“SB 82 Prohibits insurance company from using statewide map of wildfire risk as basis for canceling policy or increasing premium.
The wildfire maps that were introduced last year are a mess. Many in my district were threatened with canceled home insurance because of them. While I am working to repeal the recently passed “wildfire” legislation, this bill ensures Oregonians will not lose their insurance in the meantime.
