His newsletter contains a lot of his complaints about the Senate Republicans withholding a quorum. He sees it as the worst of times because it prevents the passage of the bills the Democrats refuse to work across the aisle on, when in reality; it’s the only way the Republican Senators have to prevent those horrific bills from becoming law. Democrats didn’t think anything was wrong by withholding a quorum in 2001 when they were the minority party.
