This bill will jeopardize the will of Oregon voters by removing the sentencing mandated by Measure 11, allowing judges to determine sentencing! The safety of Oregonians is at risk by not allowing law enforcement to do their jobs.
Personal Choice and Responsibility
Oregon Voters passed measure 11 by a 2 to 1 margin, to hold our most violent offenders to be held accountable for their crimes. These are the States most dangerous people!
Giving $2,500,000 to the REIMAGINE SAFETY FUND is irresponsible, this is a racial social justice movement that incites and divides this Nation that is founded on disinformation on racial disparity.
Putting limits on the ability of police for some crimes and to stop vehicles for some equipment violations. Including many Class A violations. Not being able to arrest persons for interfering with Public Transportation, makes no sense at all!
Not arresting Johns, does not take them off the street! Insinuating that this bill approves of Prostitutes and those that profit off them!
