Appropriates $15 million from the General Fund to the for purposes of deposit in the Universal Representation Fund.
Appropriation includes $10.5 million to Oregon Department of Administrative Services to disbursement to Oregon Worker Relief as the fiscal agent under ORS 9.85. Appropriates $4.5 million to the Judicial Department for purposes of transfer to the Oregon State Bar for purposes of use by the Legal Services Program to provide legal services to individuals on immigration matters. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
This bill gives $15 million to lawyer up “illegals” and fight against the Federal Government who is going to deport “illegal” criminals.
