HB 2298 Reciprocity for states who require safety education as OR does

This bill recognizes the concealed carry licenses of all states which recognize Oregon concealed licenses, as long as that state has similar requirement on firearm safety education.

Personal Choice and Responsibility
This has been needed for so long. Somewhere around 18 other states recognize Oregon concealed carry permits but Oregon recognizes NO OTHER STATE’s license. This is an embarrassment for Oregon.

This is the same as SB 323,  but SB 323 does not require the other state to require the safety education in order to be recognized.
