HB 2465 Relating to Majority of Shareholders of Medical Corporations

This bill imposes the will of the State Boards upon professional corporations dictating their operations and Board compensation.  Permits professional corporation organized to practice medicine to include nurse practitioners as permissible holders of required majority of each class of shares entitled to vote, as required majority of directors and as all officers except secretary or treasurer.

Personal Choice and Responsibility
Removes all choice of private professional corporations as to who can possess how much stock in the corporation and who possess the majority of stock

Limited Government
Government exerting itself into the operations of private corporations and dictating its will upon them

Local Control
Removes control of private corporations from the corporation itself and turns it over to the government

Free Markets
Eliminates the free market of corporation control and turns it over to the government
