This bill prohibits sex-selective abortions in the last three months of pregnancy. [same as SB 541]
Personal Choice and Responsibility
In the third trimester a baby is considered viable and has a good chance of surviving outside the womb. Therefore to abort a baby at this stage is no longer a legal choice.
Limited Government
It is government's job to protect the vulnerable and weak. Therefore it is government’s job to protect a baby that is viable and a living human being.
