This bill requires officers’ names on uniforms during crowd control. Officer must give a name when requested. The enforcement agency must supply the name of the officer upon request.

Personal Choice and Responsibility
Law enforcement officers are human beings, this is a job, they have family and have places they live. It is irresponsible to allow officers to be doxed without reason. If a crime was committed then a badge number or other identification should be sufficient to identify an officer for judgment. Law enforcement officers have been doxed by Antifa and BLM in the past and they and their families have been threatened.
