SB 176 prohibits courts from applying Sharia law.

This requires the true definition of separation of church and state. No court shall mandate a religion nor enforce its laws that violates the US Constitution, the Oregon Constitution, and any other ordinance or law of the People.

Individual religious rights does not permit unjust laws that takes away individual rights.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." (Declaration of Independence)

We cannot permit a foreign law to infiltrate our legal system that advocates the overthrow of our government.
