SB 645 State Wildlife Fund expenditure restrictions

This bill requires that license fees and funds received by State Wildlife Fund to be used only to directly support the programs for which money was received.

Fiscal Responsibility
Moneys received by the commission and deposited in the State Wildlife Fund pursuant to the issuance of licenses, tags or permits for angling, taking, hunting or trapping activities may be used by the commission only to carry out those activities or programs that directly support or benefit the angling, taking, hunting or trapping activities for which the moneys were received.

Limited Government
Prohibits adding a surcharge on license and tags for superficial activities.
