This bill requires a 2/3 majority to pass bills that declare an emergency.

Limited Government
The Oregon Constitution allows citizens to veto laws passed by the Legislature through the referendum process. This bill would curb abuse of the emergency clause.

    This bill is so badly needed. The legislature now puts “emergency clauses” in every bill they submit so WE THE PEOPLE can’t vote it out once it becomes law. This is their way to have complete control over we the people. With this type of control over us they treat us more and more like their slaves and piggy banks.
