This bill amends the Oregon Constitution to allow impeachment of Statewide elected official by the House, that they be tried in the Senate, and convicted by a three-fifths vote.

Limited Government
Currently, Oregon does not have an impeachment process. We only have a recall process.

    Well let me guess… since the tyrants are in the majority, they won’t let this bill proposal see the light of day. That’s a shame.

    Two things to note on this bill: Three-fifths of the House must vote to impeach; two-thirds (not three-fifths as stated here) must vote to convict.
