This bill requires all High Schools with a student enrollment of more than 1000 students to install Vaporizing detection devices in all student bathrooms and common areas.

Create a written policy on disciplinary actions not to include suspension or expulsion.

How are schools going to pay for these wireless, or wired Vaporizing detection devices?

A testimony from a student at Glencoe High School states there is a pilot proposed for her school with a $50,000 grant. If there are grant funds available for vaping detectors, then that grant should give priority to schools needing detectors. Not every school is of the Portland caliber that needs detectors, and to mandate it for all schools without providing the funds is not responsible governing. We have laws against mandating an expense without funding it for counties and the same should apply to schools.
