Permits someone who is 16 or 17 years old and registered to vote to cast a ballot in school district elections.

There is a reason minimum ages are set at the point of gaining experiences. Until young people graduate from high school, they can’t know what responsibility feels like, no matter how smart.

We have rules for “conflict of interest” for a reason. Students are not their parents, whom the school board represents. Students are governed by school boards making it a conflict of interest.
