This upcoming year, Rep. Chaichi (D, HD35) wants to do a “District Tour” around the perimeter of House District 35, with informal gatherings at different locations (parks, community centers, bars/restaurants, coffee shops, etc).
Her first constituent meet and greet will be at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 2nd, in-person, at The 649 (18647 SW Farmington Rd). They request you please RSVP so that they can plan accordingly for space at the bar/restaurant. This is a totally FREE event, and you do not need to purchase anything upon arriving at the event.
She’s been having training sessions for county residents to Know Your Rights, so they will know how to respond to the increasing presence of Federal ICE agents in the neighborhoods. If our laws had been enforced in the first place, ICE wouldn’t have to be coming into the neighborhoods to do the state’s work.
We don’t recall her giving training sessions for county citizens to know their rights. Hmmm…
