Attorney General Dan Rayfield (Democrat) will be joining Sen. Golden (D, SD3) and Rep. Marsh (D, HD5) in Ashland for a Town Hall, Safeguarding Oregon: Federal Oversight. The event is focused on hearing directly from Oregonians who have been affected by federal actions. Apparently, they’re not interested in how their own state actions are negatively affecting your pocketbook. Please come and share your experiences if you’re able.
AG Rayfield is at the forefront of the state coalition of AGs using your tax dollars to challenge many of the current administration’s actions to cut waste and fraud. Why is the AG against cutting waste and fraud? Oregon is currently involved in 35 multi-state lawsuits against the federal government. Many of those lawsuits have generated rulings that have protected more than $3.5 billion in state funding, thus far. Take a wild guess on who that is benefitting.
