We’re now over three weeks into a government shutdown because Senate Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer, continue to vote NO on a clean funding bill. It’s time to cut through the political noise and examine what’s actually happening and who’s truly responsible. Democrats are demanding that Republicans make permanent the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced health insurance subsidies before they’ll agree to fund the government.
