Rep. Hudson (D, HD49) and Ruiz (D, HD50) will be holding an “Education Focused” Town Hall on Fri., May 16th at Mt. Hood Community College Visual Arts Theatre at 1pm. They will be discussing the state of education in Oregon, hearing from students, (What about the taxpayers? Don’t they want to hear from them?) and talking about the issues most directly impacting your community.
He’s also proud of his bill moving forward in the legislative process; HB 2586, which permits an asylum seeker who is a student at a public university in this state, or Oregon Health and Science University to receive an exemption from nonresident tuition and fees.
Ask them how they expect us to afford to live here with all these tax and fee increases they’re passing…
