Sponsored by Rep. Jack Zita (R, HD-53)  Thank you Rep Zita for supporting School Choice.

This bill increases percentage of students to 8% of students in school district who may enroll in virtual public charter school not sponsored by school district without first receiving approval from school district. Expands school choice.

Personal Choice and Responsibility
Public schools have failed in providing with virtual learning during the pandemic and more parents looked elsewhere for education options.

Local Control
Increases school choice and competition for virtual public schools sponsored by the school district.

    Really hoping this happens. At the beginning of the year we were rejected by multiple charters due to limits on enrollment. We ended up having to purchase online curriculum to get my Kindergartner in consistent school this year. We need more options. Online charters already have this remote learning figured out. Let them teach!
