We’re pleased that you wish to volunteer with Oregon Citizens Lobby (OCL) in our efforts. This is an exciting volunteer opportunity where you can hold your Legislators accountable, by researching bills, emailing, testifying, or visiting with legislators.  The War Room is the core to our efforts during the legislative session.

If you’re unable to come to Warroom in Salem, you can participate online in the War Room efforts at home and on Telegram https://t.me/ocl_warroom, It’s your comfort level that will determine your roll.

1. Which activities would you like to help with?

Participate in War Room efforts at the Capital in Salem. This is how we congregate, collaborate, lobby, and research problematic bills.

Research problematic bills.

Adviser - one who lends their expertise in a given area to those writing testimony and news alerts.

Write testimony posts on the Oregon Legislative Information System website.

Call &/or email legislators on posted alerts.

Give public testimony at committee hearings.

Write letters to editors.
