Reps. Bowman (D, HD25), Rieke-Smith (D, HD26) and Sen. Neron Misslin (D, SD13) will hold a town hall on Saturday, August 23rd from 10:00–11:30 AM at the Tigard Public Library. They’ll share legislative updates, answer questions, and hear directly from you. Here’s some other things they accomplished in this session for you too…
- Higher costs of living for everyone because of the higher taxes and fees they passed
- Turning law abiding citizens into criminals with more of their gun restriction bills which does nothing to protect citizens
- Banned retailers and restaurants from providing single-use plastic checkout bags, utensils, and condiment packaging.
- Will now require schools to teach climate change
- Will pour the largest amount of your tax dollars in state history (11.4 billion) into Oregon’s failing schools but did nothing to improve the outcome.
Oh, don’t forget; they’ve got even more taxes and fees they’ll pass on to you in the upcoming Special Session which starts Aug 29th!
