Sen. Janeen Sollman (D, SD15) will be having a Community Conversation on Sat, Aug. 8th at the Fernhill Wetlands (1399 Fernhill Rd) from 10 – 11 am.
She’s quite worried about plastic pollution. Granted, it’s not a good thing, but she wants to phase out single-use plastics. Paper seems to be a good alternative – it’s made from wood, but the Oregon legislature and environmentalists seem to be against logging too.
