Every first Friday of the month, Rep Tran (D, HD45) hosts her Power to the People constituent gathering to discuss the issues that matter most to those in HD 45.
She’s big on help for protecting rights and resisting. Lots of links in her newsletters for immigrants’ rights, legal aid, food, rural justice, and resistance networks. Not so much though, for free speech. As a member of the House Committee on Conduct, she voted against Rep. Yunker’s right to talk about his constituents concerns on the House floor. Fortunately, the full committee found he did not violate any conduct rules.
