Modifies provisions relating to the Public Employees Retirement System.
One of these modifications is to count a whole month for retirement calculations when more than half the month is worked. It eliminates the partial calculations. That means a part-time employee that works 12 days a month receives full-time benefits for retirement. The PERS system is not in a situation to be generous, and this is fiscally not responsible.
