EMAIL COMMITTEE CHAIRS TO NOT HEAR THIS BILL.
EMAIL ALL LEGISLATORS TO OPPOSE THIS BILL IF IT GETS A HEARING.
Section (4) is the added language:
(4) A regular session, as described in subsection (1) of this section, shall be extended by one calendar day or each day during that regular session that the Senate or the House of Representatives fails to achieve a quorum in order to conduct legislative business after attempting to do so.
What does, “after attempting to do so” mean? What action need to take place? What doesn’t it mean? Is simply calling roll call to determine quorum count?
What would be the cost to each day added?
