Sen. Sollman (D, SD15) will be having a Virtual Community Conversation with the public on Thurs. Sept. 19th from 6 – 7 pm.  You may use this link to join the meeting now or copy it and save it in your calendar for use at the designated time.  The virtual meeting platform is Microsoft Teams. If you have not used MS Teams before, you may need a couple extra minutes to get set up.

Sen Sollman is all for locking up guns in your home so you can’t get to them when you need them in an emergency. She says firearms are the leading cause of death for American children.  She encourages as one of the smartest things all adults can do to keep kids, classrooms, and communities safe from gun violence is raise awareness about secure gun storage.

She also voted to pass SB 762  (wildfire risk map), which is causing property values to plummet and insurance companies to drop coverage of those homes.  Please tell her this bill needs to be repealed.

Be sure to check our calendar for other events where you can speak up to make a difference.
